Clearwater Science has the ability to rapidly test for mycotoxins achieving the ultralow levels of detection needed to ensure your products are safe for consumers or personal use.
Cannabis has a high moisture content so long term storage can allow for fungal growth known as mold. Mycotoxins are a toxic secondary metabolite of mold. Aflatoxins are a subset of mycotoxins which are found in soil and decaying vegetation ( often used for growing)
RESIDUAL SOLVENT TESTING
Clearwater Science has the technology for rapid identification and quantitation of very low concentrations of residual solvents Residual solvents are leftover chemical from the process used to extract cannabinoids and terpenes from the plant.
MOISTURE CONTENT
Clearwater Science can offer quick and accurate moisture measurement at a low cost. The moisture content of stored medical cannabis products can be detrimental to the safety of consumers. A moisture content above 13% is prone to mold growth.
